IMAF 2006
The deadline for the submissions is 16th October 2006, 5:30pm, GMT.
Entering the IMAF competition involves the following steps:
Step 1. Read about the entry categories, general and file requirements using the links at the bottom of this page.
Step 2. Register as a user in the gallery section of the website. If you are already registered, go to step 4.
Step 3. If you don't have your artwork ready at this stage, resume with step 4 later.
Step 4. Log in with your selected user name and password. Please note that the gallery user is different from the forum user, you cannot use your forum user to log in to the gallery and vice versa.
Step 5. Browse the gallery to your desired category and use the 'Submit Entry' button, that is at the right on top and on bottom of the page. Steps 4 and 5 can be done in any order.
Step 6. Submit your artwork thumbnail (optional), title, description, and images or zip file. If you have a video that you are going to submit by post on CD or DVD, provide some cover image/banner for that video. There are 5 file upload fields on the entry submission form. If you zipped your images, provide the zip file in field 1. (Images will appear on the website in the same order as in archive, so give them names with 01, 02 to sort accordingly). For non-zip option, use fields starting from 1 without gaps. Image file types must follow the first one - different ones will be ignored. That is, if the first image extension is .jpg, a .gif file following it will be ignored. Non-image files (that is, not ending with one of '.gif .png .jpg .tiff') or files larger than 300Kb will be ignored as well.
Step 7. If you need to submit more entries, repeat steps 4 (if necessary), 5 and 6.
Step 8. If you need to edit your entries, log in if you are not logged in yet and browse to your entry (or use your profile page to access them all) and use the 'Edit' button next to your entry. If you have multiple images, the old ones will be replaced with the new set if you provide at least one suitable file in field 1.
Step 9. If you have video entry(ies), send the CD/DVD with your artworks quoting your username and contact details to IMAF (you can find the address here).
